Terms of use
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Opes. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
1. The service
Opes, provided by To be confirmed: legal name, address, registration number ("we"), is a record-keeping and reporting tool. It lets you record assets, liabilities, bank balances and income, import statements, see charts and projections, and optionally share a read-only view with people you choose.
2. Not advice
Opes does not provide investment, tax, legal or accounting advice and does not recommend any product. Valuations, projections, simulations, tax and gratuity estimates, bankability and emergency-fund figures are informational and depend on data and assumptions you supply or that come from third parties. Check anything important with a qualified professional. We are not a bank, a payment institution, a broker or a regulated adviser, and the app cannot move money or place trades.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
- Two-factor authentication is mandatory. Keep your password, second factor and passkeys private; you are responsible for activity under your account until you tell us it is compromised.
- For your protection the service signs you out after 15 minutes of inactivity and after 12 hours.
- One person, one account. Do not share your credentials; use the Sharing feature instead.
4. Your data and content
The data and documents you enter or upload remain yours. You give us the limited right to store, process and display them to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload (for example statements and contracts that concern you or that you are authorised to handle) and that it contains nothing unlawful.
5. Sharing and advisers
When you share a module with someone, that person can view it read-only until the share ends or you revoke it, and can leave comments you will see. You decide whom to trust; we are not responsible for what a person does with information you chose to share. An adviser can act only through a verified advisory firm, an active adviser account and your active share. Verification of a firm is a check of its email domain and a look at the public regulator register; it is not a recommendation or a guarantee of the adviser's competence or authorisation.
6. Imports, third-party data and accuracy
Statement readers, OCR, price feeds and valuation sources can be wrong, late or unavailable. Imports are shown for you to review before saving; you are responsible for checking them against your original documents. Where the app marks a figure as estimated, manual or stale, treat it accordingly.
7. Acceptable use
You must not: attack, probe or overload the service; try to access another person's data; bypass the sign-in, second factor or read-only protections; use bots or scrapers; reverse engineer the service except where the law allows; or use it for money laundering, fraud or any unlawful purpose. We may suspend an account that does.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. We will give reasonable notice of a change that significantly reduces what the service does for you.
9. Price
To be confirmed: Currently free / describe plans, price, billing and refund terms when paid plans exist.
10. Ending the relationship
You can delete your account at any time in Settings under Your data, after a 14-day cooling-off period, and you can download your data first. We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms or if the law requires, and will explain why where we are allowed to.
11. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for death or personal injury, fraud or gross negligence, or consumer rights that cannot be waived). Subject to that, the service is provided "as is"; we are not liable for decisions you make from figures shown in the app, for losses caused by inaccurate data you or third parties supplied, or for indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability for any claim is limited to To be confirmed: the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, or an amount fixed by counsel.
12. Governing law and disputes
To be confirmed: Governing law and courts, for example French law and the courts of Paris for EU consumers, and the law chosen for others. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where they live. Contact us first at contact@opeswealth.app so we can try to resolve a complaint. To be confirmed: EU consumer mediation body, as required in France.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app or by email at least To be confirmed: 30 days before a material change applies. If you keep using the service after that date you accept the new terms; if you do not, you can delete your account.
